Sony is pleased to announce the New LMD B series monitor; the LMD-B170. The LMD-B170 is a 17-inch utility LCD monitor offering Full HD resolution, along with a lightweight and new compact design. The LMD-B Series offers convenient features, functions, the same user-interface design and operability as PVM-A Series RGB OLED and LMD-A Series Premium LCD picture monitors. The consistency between the PVM-A, LMD-A and LMD-B Series brings great user benefits when all the types of monitor are used in the same network. Furthermore, LMD-B Series monitors provide versatility over a wide range of user applications as a more cost-effective solution. New features include DC operation and 100mm VESA Wall mount. In addition, the latest camera-support functions, such as Picture in Picture display for camera matching, and focus assist. These provide for convenience and working efficiency both in the field and in the production process.

The LMD-B170 supplied stand has tilt / wall mounting function. The LMD-B170 monitor is suitable for standalone applications such as the basic non-linear editing system, video shooting or simple video monitoring.
