Sony continues to expand its popular SRG PTZ Camera line up with the introduction of the SRG-120DU USB 3.0 UVC Video Compatible PTZ Camera. This affordable professional 1080/59.94p Full HD camera is designed to interface easily with a dedicated computer system using the same USB technology found on most computers. Simply connect the camera directly to any standard PC through its USB 3.0 input and you are quickly connected with popular Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) and multimedia streaming devices. It is ideal for visual communications and remote monitoring applications. With a high-sensitivity 1/2.8-type Exmor CMOS sensor as well as the latest View-DR technology, the camera provides extremely wide dynamic range with Sony’s full capture Wide-D technology to compensate for backlight or changing lighting conditions. In addition, its XDNR technology reduces noise and provides clear images in low lighting conditions. It’s extremely wide field of view (71degrees) and a 12x optical/12x digital zoom auto focus lens makes it perfect for small to mid-sized rooms. The camera features fast and silent pan/tilt/zoom capabilities and is controllable via VISCA protocol (RS-232 and RJ45 [IP] connectors. The drive motor noise is less than 35dB, making it perfect for noise restricted environments like hospitals, classrooms and meeting rooms. Available in a silver housing, its all-in-one compact and lightweight design makes it easy to install in a variety of locations. High Sensitivity Sensor – The SRG120DU incorporates Sony’s latest 1/2.8-type Exmor CMOS sensor that enables the capture of smooth, crisply detailed, Full HD (1920 x 1080) images with extremely low noise – even in low lighting conditions. Plus its high frame rate (60fps) operation helps to ensure smoother, more fluid reproduction of moving subjects.
Clear Images in Harsh or Backlit Lighting Conditions – Similar to the previous SRG cameras, the SRG-120DU features Sony’s View-DR technology (wide dynamic range) to compensate for extreme backlight or harsh lighting conditions. In addition, its XDNR technology reduces noise and provides clear images in low lighting conditions.
Get Ready for Your Close Up – The SRG-120DU’s 12x optical zoom range is complemented by 12x digital zoom (total 144x High Power Zoom), for frame-filling close-ups with every detail seen clearly. Responsive autofocus ensures that images stay clear and sharp, even at high zoom settings. And the SRG-120DU’s extremely wide field of view (71o) makes it ideal for small- to mid-sized rooms.
