Sony is pleased to introduce the VPL-CH370 5,000lm WUXGA basic installation projector, the latest addition to the VPL-CH series. The VPL-CH370 provide WUXGA (1920×1200) high resolution image with powerful 5,000 lumen brightness.
The new projector is equipped with technologies including Bright Era 3LCD panels, Advanced Crisp Focus Lens, and 12-bit Gamma Correction circuit for a greater visual experience. Not only is the picture brilliant, users can expect to reduce their total operational cost due to long lamp life (up to 5000h*1) and the intelligent auto lamp dimming function. Additionally, features such as lens shift for fine adjustment, horizontal & vertical keystone correction, and advanced geometric correction helps installers to reduce total time of installation.
Above all, pricing is extremely competitive and the projectors are great fits for large class rooms and meeting rooms where cost is critical.
Superb Image Quality & Rich Color Reproduction
Sony’s genuine Bright EraTM 3LCD panels create a brilliant 5000lm color light output. Not only bright, the projector incorporates multiple technologies for greater viewing experience. Advanced Crisp Focus Lens, built from 10 glass lens elements and 1 aspheric plastic lens, provides high resolution crisp image with less aberration across the image. 12-bit 3D Digital Gamma Correction circuit helps reproducing smooth gradations and rich gray scale while Dynamic Detail Enhancer allows users to play back interlace video signal converted to progressive format.

Economical and Power Saving
With Sony’s unique lamp-driving technology, the projection lamp is designed to work intelligently to reduce energy consumption.
Auto Lamp Dimming
In the event the projector is left powered while not in use, it automatically detects no change of signal input and will dim the lamp as low as 30 percent of original brightness to significantly reduce energy consumption.
Auto lamp mode
Lamp output dynamically changes depending on the brightness of image projected. For example, when showing darker images that don’t require high brightness, the lamp output will decrease to avoid unnecessary power
consumptiom. Color adjustment occurs at the same time to maintain natural picture reproduction.
Installation Support Features
supports installers to reduce time of installation
Vertical +/- 5%, Horizontal +/-4% optical lens shift saves time for fine adjustment of image position
Geometric-image correction, horizontal and vertical keystone correction features allow image to fit squarely on the screen even projected from an off-set angle. Saves installation time in the real world where screen is not
always leveled, or sprinklers on the ceiling needs to be avoided.
CrestronConnectedTM
The new VPL-CH370 is compatible with CrestronConnectedTM control and management systems. CrestronConnectedTM systems provide control capability over an IT network without custom programming or a control processor.

Network Presentation
Users can project images over a wired LAN or a wireless network using supplied Network Presentation software (an optional IFU-WLM3 wireless USB dongle is required for wireless connection. Wireless LAN : 802.11b/g/n, 2.4GHz). Projector can simultaneously display computer images from up to 4 different sources.
