A high quality 1080p Video Delay solution is born.
The TSS-1080p Variable Time Delay incorporates the ability to delay a 1080p broadcast from 30 seconds up to 24 hours. Just as in the TSS-2470II, the amount of delay time can be adjusted on-the-fly without loss of any currently recorded time. The applications for being able to reliably and frame accurately delay a 1080p video stream range from live competitive gaming events to theatrical production.
The TSS-1080p maintains the high quality 1080p image by using H.264 compression at 100Mbps to reproduce the delayed feed with exceptional quality. As with all our servers, high reliability is achieved by using sever grade components, RAID 5 storage, redundant power and cooling and a space saving 1U chassis.
Maintaining a simple user interface makes adjusting and readjusting the amount of delay time easy. Establish an initial delay time in the primary delay window, then utilizing any of the four preset buttons or transport controls, change the delay as needed. This methodology provides users with a simple way to initiate different amounts of delay time without the need for manual recording and rebroadcasting. The input feed is automatically delayed the set amount of time without any further user inputs required.
Like the TSS-2470II, the TSS-1080p still supports all broadcast formats – 720p, 1080i, 1080p and NTSC/PAL at frame rates of 29.97/59.94 or 25/50 Hz. Because the TSS-2470II transports high-value program content, it employs a four-drive, RAID 5 disk array for enhanced reliability. Drives and power supplies are hot swappable allowing the system to continue running without downtime. With its 1U form factor, power consumption is low, and forced-air cooling extends component life and reliability.
Should the the TSS-1080p system need to be controlled from a remote location, the included Remote Workstation software application can be used to connect to the server GUI or the optional GPIO triggers may be implemented. Other features include high-quality 10 bit video with up to 16 channels of embedded audio and support for closed captions and other VANC data. A live feed monitor output and frame accurate delay from 30 seconds to 24 hours or more, round out an excellent standard feature set.
